These priorities aren’t just promises — they reflect what I’ve heard, what I’ve lived, and what I’m committed to fighting for.

Community First — Always
I’m not running to speak for the people. I’m running to stand with the people.
In Senate District 24, our greatest strength is our community — families who look out for one another, faith leaders who inspire hope, and neighbors who step up when times get tough. My job as your Senator is to listen, to lead with compassion, and to fight for the resources our communities need to thrive.
My Community-Driven Priorities:
β Invest in Local Solutions
- Fund grassroots organizations already doing the work
- Support community centers, libraries, and safe gathering spaces
- Prioritize funding for projects led by the people who live here

- Make sure every voice — not just the loudest or wealthiest — is heard
β Honor Elders & Uplift Youth
- Create programs that connect generations
- Support senior services, home care, and family caregivers
- Expand mentorship, recreation, and leadership opportunities for youth
Community isn’t a slogan — it’s my foundation.
Together, we’ll create a Mississippi where everyone feels seen, valued, and supported.
π¨ From the community. For the community. With the community.

π Legislation That Serves the People — Not Special Interests
As your State Senator, I won’t just show up to vote — I’ll show up to write and support legislation that reflects the real needs of our community.
Too often, laws are written behind closed doors by people who don’t live our struggles. That’s not how I lead. I believe in transparent, people-first policymaking — grounded in justice, equity, and common sense.
ποΈ My Legislative Priorities Will Focus On:
β Education Reform
- Legislation to increase funding for public schools
- Expand access to trade schools, apprenticeships, and adult learning
- Support policies that value teachers and classroom freedom
β Healthcare Access
- Push to expand Medicaid and increase funding for rural health centers
- Propose bills that support maternal care, mental health, and preventive services
- Champion telehealth access in underserved communities
β Economic Equity
- Legislate for living wages, workforce development, and small business support
- Create job creation zones in struggling areas
- Push for clean water, infrastructure, and internet expansion
β Criminal Justice Reform
- Support legislation that reduces recidivism, expands reentry programs, and ensures fair sentencing
- Fund community policing alternatives and violence interruption programs
- Fight for restorative justice and ending school-to-prison pipelines
β Community-Led Governance
- Write policy that funds grassroots groups and lets local leaders take the lead
- Mandate community input in state spending, development, and emergency response
- Ensure transparency and accountability in government contracts and oversight
Legislation should uplift people, not hold them back.
I will bring your voices to the Capitol — and put your concerns into policy.
π¨ Because laws should work for the people who live under them.

π Education Is the Foundation of Our Future
In Senate District 24, our children deserve more than just promises — they deserve real opportunity.
As your State Senator, I will work to ensure every student — no matter their zip code — has access to quality education, career-ready skills, and the support they need to succeed.
π« My Education Priorities:
β Invest in Public Schools
- Fight for equitable funding
- Modernize school facilities
- Ensure safe, well-resourced learning environments
β Expand Career & Technical Education (CTE)
- Increase access to trade schools, apprenticeships, and job training
- Partner with local industries to prepare students for the workforce
β Support Teachers & School Staff
- Advocate for better pay and professional development
- Ensure teachers have the resources they need to teach — not just test
β Empower Youth Beyond the Classroom
- Fund after-school programs, mentorship, and youth leadership initiatives
- Support special education and mental health services in schools
Every child has potential. Every classroom deserves investment. Every educator should be valued.
Let’s build an education system that lifts up our entire community.
π¨ Education is not a privilege — it’s a right.

πΌ Building a Stronger Local Economy — From the Ground Up
A thriving economy starts with investing in people, not just numbers. In Senate District 24, we need real opportunities, fair wages, and support for small businesses — because when our communities do well, our whole state does better.
π° My Economic Priorities:
β Grow Local Jobs
- Partner with local businesses and industries to create sustainable jobs
- Attract new investment to rural areas without displacing communities
- Support public works programs that put residents to work improving our own neighborhoods
β Support Small Businesses
- Expand access to grants, low-interest loans, and startup resources
- Provide technical assistance for entrepreneurs, especially women- and minority-owned businesses
- Cut red tape while maintaining fair protections
β Invest in Workforce Development
- Fund trade schools, job training, and career certification programs
- Create training pipelines in healthcare, clean energy, construction, and tech
- Ensure returning citizens and veterans have re-entry career opportunities
β Fight for Fair Wages & Workers’ Rights
- Advocate for a living wage
- Protect workers’ rights to organize and negotiate
- Promote workplace safety and benefits for essential workers
β Close the Economic Opportunity Gap
- Bring state-level resources and infrastructure to underserved areas.
- Address housing affordability and transportation barriers that limit employment.
- Ensure economic policy puts families first, not just corporations
I believe in an economy that works for everyone — not just the well-connected. It’s time to bring jobs, dignity, and fairness back to the center of economic policy in Mississippi.
π¨ Economic justice is community justice.
